Lisa Frank is the founder of Lisa Frank's Empowerment Services. She has a Bachelors Degree in Theology from The United Bible College Seminary of Orlando, Florida. She is passionate about helping people and loves being a resource for humans, so she is completing her degree in Business/Human Resource Management.
She is a Certified Life (Transformational) Coach, Pastoral Care Counselor and Motivational Speaker with a crisis, grief and loss niche. Lisa is a published author in the collaboration of “And, Still I Rise,” Volume I of The Women’s Compilation Project and "Faith Through The Fog." She is a member of Toastmasters International (New Jersey Chapter).
The counseling field has exposed her to a diversity of populations with people suffering from many forms of mental illness. Her mental health experience began in a residential halfway house for women and children recovering from drug and alcohol addictions; and continued at such venues as methadone clinics, correctional facilities, family practices, hospitals and other rehabilitation centers. She has counseled and educated over a thousand people, primarily women, through life’s challenges. She is culturally sensitive and has studied abroad for extended periods in Madrid, Spain and San Jose, Costa Rica.
Lisa currently works on the insurance side of healthcare. She has previously worked at a hospital, as a Volunteer Guest Services, and Pastoral Care Coordinator. She loves volunteering yearly at Camp Erin Philadelphia for grieving children who have experienced significant losses. She also enjoys reading, walking and crocheting; but her primary joy and calling in life is being a mother to her daughter Jélissa, son Oscar and being Abuela to her granddaughter Sarai Cullers.
